Looks 2023 Fashion of Tomorrow: An Eco-Centered Fashion Show

Looks 2023 Fashion of Tomorrow, a segment of the EcoCouTour Fashion Tour series in America, was held at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills last November 19, 2022.

Individuals and organizations can use EcoCouTour as a platform to advertise their unique, varied, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable eco-collection. It aims to raise awareness of how crucial it is to include environmentally friendly and inclusive diversity designs in the designers' eco-collection. It provides one-of-a-kind and imaginative chances to debut aspiring eco-fashion runway models, support emerging eco-fashion designers and brands, and take part in an important mission of raising awareness of eco-fashion.

The following are some of the participating designers/brands on the above mentioned event:

RACS

On the runway, RACS displayed its eco-collection, bow ties, and wire mask. RACS's journey began with the design of a distinctive bow tie that was influenced by music, a burning desire to employ sustainable materials, and a conviction in the finishing touch of artisan skill. Its purpose is to:
  • Be driven by their passion for partnering with and empowering artists all around the world to produce appealing ethical goods;
  • They are ecstatic about the world of the arts and all the excitement and exploration it offers, at times pushing them into difficult circumstances; and
  • Be motivated by the desire to fulfill their calling by making the world a better place.

ALMA T Collection by Alma Tomenio

Alma Tomenio, a rising apparel designer located in Las Vegas, Nevada, showcased her label, Alma T Collection, which specializes in sustainable fashion. Scrub suits and jackets made of polypropylene surgical wraps and expertly transformed into lovely yet functional outfits showcasing the Modern Filipiniana Terno were highlights of the runway show. The spotlight on those outfits was meant to honor and pay gratitude to the tireless efforts of all healthcare professionals, who served as the frontline responders during the pandemic crisis. Alma promotes sustainable fashion, supports eco-friendly initiatives, and uses recycled, repurposed, and up-cycled materials and resources to create clothing.

DZOLIK

On the runway, Dzolik presented some of its collection prototypes for 2023. Cork and recycled materials are used to create the brand Dzolik. Many components of their products, such as the liner or entire exterior body, are created with RPET, or recycled plastic bottles.

SCARLETT POPPIES

Scarlett Poppies exhibited its mid-year and spring 2023 assortment on the runway.

Scarlett Poppies features resort wear, proper summer attire, and your go-to wardrobe for special occasions in the summer, or typically for people who benefit from living in the sunshine throughout the year. It carefully chooses its materials, and its textures start with what nature provides: cotton, fabric, silk, and thick, the latter of which is made from cellulose mash. It only uses fabrics that are locally available and produced in the country where they stitch the actual garments, aiming to avoid excessive transportation throughout the supply chain. It also prefers organic fabric options over conventional ones whenever possible. Each Scarlett Poppies outfit is the result of the designer's passion for stylish, well-made clothing as well as the labor of their talented, driven artisans and tailors.

mSquare showcased its fall 2023 and winter 2022 collections on the runway. mSquare transcends east-west boundaries. They desired what the market lacked; the architectural shapes of the collection combine straightforward yet elegant textures and hues. An mSquare woman is contemporary, elegant, sophisticated, and at ease with herself. She might not have a Hollywood body, but she knows how to appear exquisite and timeless without compromising on style.
