Find your Kababayan in America through Christ

Filipinos find strengths through their faith; However, a community full of Kababayans will make it feel like home in the house of God. Here are some Filipino Churches in America where you can find Kapatids and Kababayan to celebrate the word of the lord!

St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church

Around the Philadelphia area, there is a parish choice of many Filipino-Americans named Saint Augustine Roman Catholic Church. The church is devoted to Sto. Nino de Cebu, the Holy Child Jesus.
The statue of Sto. Nino was installed in Philadelphia on January 11, 1992, and has since been the National Shrine for devotion in North America.

The Church follows feast and ceremonies the same in the Philippines, and it never felt out of place for a lot of Filipinos attending it. It is also very much welcome to everyone who wants to learn Catholicism. St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church also do an annual feat honoring Santo Nino called “Sinulog” every third Sunday of January.

The Filipino Church

The Filipino Church started as a bible study and worship gathering for a small group of families in Aurora, Colorado in 2011 and has since grown and was able to build church and channels online. The Filipino Church is more Filipino-centered, using Tagalog as their language.
Now, they have Youtube and Facebook Live Channels where Filipinos can tune in for ceremonies, worship performances, and bible readings.

Their goal is To provide Christ-centered teaching, worship, heartfelt care, personal discipleship, and leadership to accomplish our vision.
Their Mission is To follow God’s will per Matthew 28:19-20 NIV – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you, always, to the end of the age.”
