Your Favorite Sisig is Now in California

Hungry for your Sisig Comfort food? Or maybe flavored-filled burritos? This Mexican-Filipino food is taking California on a whole new ride! Señor Sisig made the best of both worlds! They are known for their combination of Sisig Tacos and Burritos.

Most Filipino-American Restaurants were very prideful in sticking to Traditional Filipino dishes in order to preserve their culture and did not want to adapt to the “American Taste”. It is good for some, however it does not appeal very much to non-Filipino people. That is where they saw the opportunity to change the next generation of Filipino restaurants that are about to come. A familiar food that is fused with Filipino food is unique and not like the others. And sure enough, the restaurant became popular all over the state.

Love for people, Love for food. This is the motto of 2 Dope Boys and a Sisig Truck namely, Chef Gil Payumo and Señor Evan Kidera.
Love for food. Chef Gil, a Filipino who looked up to his dad as the head chef of their family, has always had a connection with food. Every Filipino knows that we spoke love with food, from greeting new people and celebrating achievements. Señor Evan, born and raised in San Francisco, has always had a passion for food and when he traveled, He was introduced to the many wonders of street foods. According to Señor Evan, “I always had a passion for food and business but where I found the most value was creating experiences for people and making them smile”.

Love for people. Señor Sisig is true to their motto and has been helpful and active in their local community. Señor Sisig teamed up with The City Eats Team in order to feed the homeless in their community. With Señor Sisig’s food truck, The City Eats was able to feed so many homeless people amazing and delicious food. As Evan said, “So while we’re proud to be giving back at Señor Sisig, we also feel that are getting something very valuable as well, and that is that sense of community, so we are going to continue to rock with The City Eats and Kieem; we have already done two events together, and it’s going to grow from there”.
