Reins Mika, a model from the Philippines, is a wonderful artist, writer, dancer, and model. It is therefore only appropriate that she was selected to participate in the Digital Creator division of the 37th Elite Model Look World Final Competition, where she ultimately succeeded as one of the winners! After winning the public vote and jury discussion, Elite selected the world finalist from the Philippines as the female champion in the Digital Creator category, defeating rivals from Italy and the United States. With Mika’s victory, one of the Elite World Group agencies has signed her to a top talent contract.

Reins Mika shared the good news on social media. “A dream come true! I am the first Filipina to win the Elite Model Look World Final Competition in the Digital category and representing my beautiful country – the Philippines. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in this amazing “virtual” journey.
Mika also cited a statement made by Julia Haart of EML:
“The digital revolution is coming fast… today what makes a talent is someone who has something to say, who stands for something, who believes, who can communicate with their audience. People aren’t looking at the traditional source anymore, they’re looking to YOU!… It’s not because about your height or how pretty you are. It’s about who you are, what you stand for, and how ambitious you are, how hungry you are to work for it… At any time in this industry has there been a moment where talent has the power that they have today – this freedom and destiny we get to create.”
The young Filipina model Reins Mika is an advocate for women, as seen by her profile on the Elite competition website:
“My biggest hope for the future is for young women to never underestimate themselves. No matter how big or small the challenge can be it doesn’t determine what’s possible for you. It’s definitely important to always remind ourselves to be bigger than our fears because we are capable of anything if we put our hearts and minds towards it.”
Reins Mika, age of 21, is a model currently under the representation of the Philippine Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), and she has modeled for advertisements for regional companies Bench, Human, Rustan’s, and Pili Ani, a new all-natural beauty line from the Philippines that uses natural ingredients.
